Greg and Michaela are a husband / wife team living and working in the Black Hills of South Dakota with their two young children. They are both Board Certified Acupuncturists with a Master’s in Acupuncture from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida. Greg and Michaela are dedicated to living their lives to their fullest potential, including helping others do the same. They bring all of what they love to Generational Medicine: healing, connection, love, and the spirit of generosity. When they are not working in service of others, they spend as much time as possible in nature with their two children June and Wayland.
Greg is a natural healer, mentor and practitioner of healing. He has been influenced by indigenous healing practices and ways of life for over 40 years. He is a Board Certified Acupuncturist and holds a Master's in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from The Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. He is also trained in Shiatsu massage, is a student and teacher of Hunyuan Qi Gong and Tai Chi, and has been deeply immersed in nature-based education. He brings the full range of his experiences in the healing arts to his work with people, with the ability to meet people where they are, regardless of culture or belief. He works with people who are seeking help, health and healing across all backgrounds.
Greg's work at Generational Medicine focuses on teaching transformative wellness practices that generate health and connection in individuals, families and communities. He believes that when we are strongly connected to ourselves and the natural world, our ability to serve and be truly helpful in our lifetime will be enhanced, and our life's purpose will be fully realized. His passion is to help service-oriented individuals create a sustainable and nourishing connection with themselves and spirit so they can better do their work in the world.
Greg works with healers, therapists, practitioners and other service-related professionals who feel burnt out and burdened by their work, stuck in their own personal healing journey to nourish their ability to help their clientele. He also works with creative entrepreneurs, struggling to unlock their creative potential, as well as people looking to establish a spiritual, healing path.
Having lived with chronic illness for most of his adult life, Greg also works with people burdened with chronic illness and trauma. Greg helps people gently, and with care, work through traumatic pasts to overcome their limitations and live healthier lives. He does the same deep inner healing work with clients suffering from chronic illness, helping them repattern and shed what has not been working for them, so they can begin living out their purpose.
Michaela is a practitioner of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with a specialty focus on fertility, women's and children's health. Her work with women has been rewarding, and taught her many lessons in strength, courage and a woman's capacity to bring forth new life. With this perspective, as well as influence from various spiritual sources, Michaela brings forward the question of how women in particular can reclaim their birthright in a modern world, and generate better health and fertility for the next generation.
Michaela's work at Generational Medicine focuses on women's health and fertility, helping women to make the necessary changes in their lives in order to bear new life – whether that be babies or a more purposeful life. She works with women of all ages, from menarche to menopause, to help them connect to their innate creative potential to create life and reduce menstrual irregularities and hormonal symptoms.
